About
The Archive Research and Study Center (ARSC) is the campus access point to the UCLA Film & Television Archive's vast collection, serving faculty, scholars, students, writers and professionals at UCLA and beyond. ARSC coordinates appointments for on-site viewing at the Instructional Media Lab in Powell Library. With ARSC's assistance, visitors have conducted research for hundreds of class assignments, dissertations, publications and film and television productions.
The UCLA Film & Television Archive collection is located in a state-of-the-art facility in Santa Clarita, California. The Archive is internationally renowned for rescuing, preserving and showcasing moving image media and comprises one of the largest moving image repositories in the world, maintaining more than 520,000 holdings of films, television programs, news footage and radio recordings.
